Mindfulness is the practice of purposely focusing your attention on the present moment - and accepting it without judgment. This helps you to quieten the busy mind and spend less time stuck in the past or worrying about the future.
I will teach you simple meditation techniques and tools to become more aware of your present moment experiences; training your attention to focus on the breath, sensations in the body, sounds, thoughts and feelings. This can be very grounding and increases self-awareness, empowering you to respond mindfully rather than react automatically in times of stress.
In hypnosis you are in a deeply focussed yet relaxed state (it is just like being engrossed in your favourite film or book where you are so in to it you barely notice background distractions), I guide you to practice new ways of thinking, feeling and behaving (within the situations you find challenging/triggering in your daily life). You mentally rehearse meeting your challenges in a more balanced way. I record each hypnosis and you take it away and practice, practice, practice at home. It’s like a new skill you are learning. Until, you find that you can go out into the World and enter into situations you once found challenging with more balance, ease…. and even enjoyment!
This is the beauty of neuroplasticity (rewiring new healthy pathways in your mind), your brain learnt these protective, unhelpful patterns of behaviour over decades, or a lifetime and your brain can unlearn these patterns and habits so you can have a greater sense of wellbeing from which creativity, peace and joy can start to blossom again.
So this takes effort and practice, I cannot wave a magic wand and cure you, this process empowers you to make the change and this makes it a lasting change, not a temporary fix.
